BODY WORK

The car was originally painted Adobe Beige by Chevrolet at the factory, since then, it has been light blue. In removing the awful re paint, I discovered that someone has probably taken a walk on the roof, and there was a little surface rust on the rear pillar - driver side, plus a little rust under the rear window, where the channel had hardened, cracked and let water thru.

A little surface rust, no big thing.

My roof of many colors - and dents!

As you see, the line where the hood takes a sharp angle down, has some work ahead. You really appreciate the tips from the T V guys when you are doing your own body work.

The leading edge of the hood starting to take shape again

I don't think this one will make it!

There is more filler than metal I think. I will hunt a better hood.

New rubber gasket for the back glass, and sealed the channel while it was out
