CARS FROM MY PAST
Everything the same color makes it look better
After the soda blasting, I washed it with a bottle of JOY and a ScotchBrite, then I washed it with a sponge and JOY, then we wiped it with PPG Metal Prep, and Mark Sexton and Willie Drummond primed it..
Okay, I am going to replace the hood, it is almost a basket case having centered a tree in a past life. The front fenders both shows signs off rust in the very bottom in front of the inner brace, so we will cut that out and put in new metal, also I have a patch panel for the driver door skin lower section. Other than that, they are a few minor dents, and a repair on the trunk lock hole, and I guess I will be ready to buy some color.
Thank you Mark Sexton and Willie Drummond
At sometime in the past 47 years, the trunk lock was removed the hard way, looks like they used a tire tool!
There, thats better.
It's gettin' there.
